This excavated plate has a brass face with uncleaned surface patina. The detail on the eagle is very good. The reverse has 100% of the lead fill. Both iron hooks remain.
Item was found by the 9th Artillery lines at Bethesda Church on Shady Road in January, 1956. From the Kerksis collection. [sl]
