PAIR C.S. CAVALRY STIRRUPS – RECOVERED FROM BRANDY STATION, VA

$350.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1000-692

A great relic from one of the largest cavalry battles of the Civil War.  A matched pair of brass stirrups.  Both show evidence of hard use and are slightly misshapen.  One of the stirrups has a break on the bottom cross strap.  Made of plain cast brass, these are unmarked, typical of Confederate service.

Both have an attractive, even green patina.  Both are marked with the recovery location.  [jet]
