Cuff button features a spread-winged eagle with patriotic shield. Shows a rich, even brown patina. Button was recovered by Barry Pipino on the farm immediately adjacent to Bloody Lane on the Antietam/Sharpsburg Battlefield in April, 1973, near the observation tower. It was private property at the time, with the owner’s permission.

Shank is present on reverse. Backmark reads, “EXTRA QUALITY”.  [sl]
