A fired US 3.67-inch Hotchkiss shell, without the lead band sabot. Base cup sabot still attached to the projectile. Sans the brass fuse adapter. Location of recovery nicely painted on the shell. Lightly cleaned and varnished, light areas of minor pitting. Found in the early 1970’s.  [ws]
