An excavated Confederate officer’s belt buckle. Cast brass buckle created in two pieces; a tongue and a wreath. The "CS" at center on tongue stands out well. Nice deep green patina. Both belt loops retain their shape without being “pulled”. Patina matches perfectly. Recovered from Haymarket, Virginia. [jet]
