Relic lockplate appears to be complete with internal parts and hammer. Item is heavily pitted with some surface rust but the word “TOWER” is visible. The letters “WE” are the clearest. Hammer is frozen.

Area of recovery is unknown. Most likely central Virginia.  [ad]
