Excavated remains of a tree with a bullet fired into it.  The type of bullet cannot be determined. Piece of wood has been sectioned to show the lead bullet. The path of the ball is also visible. Wood measures 11 ½” long x 2 ½” wide x 1 ¼” thick.  Wood remains stable and has been coated.

Recovered from Honey Hill, South Carolina.   [jet]
