$650.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1000-1339

Measuring 62mm by 72mm, this fixed tongue buckle has slightly wider side bars than the standard frame buckle. The tongues have a slight bevel on the side of the buckle where they and the crossbar are flush with the frame. On the other side they are very nearly, but not entirely flush with the frame. Central Virginia is recorded as the find site.

A good example of a Confederate “general issue” buckle.  [sr]
