ONE HALF OF A CONFEDERATE FRAME BUCKLE

$200.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1000-1321

This is an interesting study piece. Now measuring 32mm by 65mm, the open side of the frame broke off at the central bar. Since the belt was sewn to the central bar and the tongues remain in place, it is tempting to think that some economy minded Rebel kept it in service in some fashion. No find site is recorded. The tongues have slightly rounded tips and lie flush with the frame, as does the central bar.  [sr]
