Relic ring mount from a Confederate sword scabbard. Rusty iron ring (only half remains) on a brass mount. Brass has smooth green patina. Marked in white paint on front, “Bloody Lane”.
Part of an old collection of Antietam Battlefield relics. Original collector/painter is unknown. All pieces from this group feature similar identifications done in a fine script with white paint. [jet]
