RELIC WORLD WAR TWO LUFTWAFFE MG17 AMMO FEED MECHANISM

$100.00
Originally $120.00

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 873-29

The MG17 machine gun was manufactured by Rheinmetal-Borsig from 1934-1944. It was the main weapon in German fighters like the Me-109.

This relic condition feed mechanism was found in Germany but nothing else is known of its history.

The feed mechanism was located above the receiver moving the ammo belt while feeding the ammunition into the chamber.

All surfaces are heavily pitted and all moving parts are frozen. That being said it still makes an impressive display for any WW2 aviation collection.  [ad]
