This is a nice relic from the Battle of Shiloh, Tenn. Rusty cannon ball fragment measures approximately 4 ½” x 3 ½” and is a portion of a 12-pounder ball. A home made tag written in ink on cardboard reads, “Piece of bursted cannon ball found on Shilo Battlefield Shilo, Tenn. (1861- 1865)”.
