Nice example of the Schenkl Percussion Fuse. The patent info clearly visible “J.P. Schenkl Pat. Oct 16, 1861.” The anvil cap unscrews, iron slider intact and heavily pitted. Sans small safety screw. Nice dark olive patina. Recovered in Richmond, VA.  [ws]
