This is an excavated script “C” cavalry button as imported and used by the Confederacy. Coat size. Imported from England. Face is good with no dents or cracks. Shank is present with just a slight tilt.
This is a “dug” button and has green oxidation overall. No backmark is visible due to this. The face has been lightly cleaned to present the “C” better.
This button displays beautifully. [jet]
