Nice looking plate with a dark patina to the face with semi-bright “US.” The surface has a couple of minor dents in the “S” but none that detract. Back has both arrow hooks and tongue as well as 99% of lead fill. There is a small casting flaw in the lead just below the tongue. Specific location on the Antietam field is unknown.
