These original shoulder epaulettes measure approximately 7 1/4" long and are worn on the uniform to fit the curve of the shoulder. The flat topside of the strap is set with a large, solid brass, crescent-shaped device. A roll of decorative gold bullion rope is attached to the outer edge of the epaulette. Underside of each epaulette strap reveals a white cloth backing. Each epaulette has a flat brass button attached to string.
