Green wool Rifleman’s epaulettes with green tassels for an enlisted man. Both are in excellent condition.
The bodies are covered in green cloth with a double row of twisted green wool outlining each clamshell. Each have a general service eagle button on one end. Suspended from each clamshell are green wool tassels with joined ends.
The underside of each is lined with a brown polished cotton. Each has the brass wire attachment hook under the eagle button.
Wool surface shows some discoloration from age and storage and one of the linings shows slight separation and wear on one end. [AD]
