Red, white and blue cotton bunting flag in fair condition.

Flag looks to be hand sewn and meas. approx. 5’ 6” on the hoist and 9’ 6” on the fly. Blue canton has 38 five-pointed stars handstitched to each side. Stars are arranged in alternating rows of eight and seven.

The canton has a five inch long vertical tear that starts at the top edge and runs toward the second star in the first row but does not touch it. There is light to moderate mothing and stress separations throughout the flag. Some are larger than others. Also the fly end has a tear approx. 7” near the top.

The hoist has a white canvas edge with a grommet at top and bottom. One end is lightly marked with the initials “WWD” while the other end has an embroidered script “D.”
