This crimson colored captain’s sash could have been worn by either a Union or Confederate officer. Fabric is in great condition, with no holes or tears, though with numerous small pulls in the fabric present as well as a small place on the edge with some fraying. It has tan streaking throughout where the color has faded. Tassels are completely intact.
