Red wool Artillery hat cord in good condition. The color is a little lighter than is normally seen however the color is consistent throughout so it is not faded. The intensity of color often varied by lot. Tassels all appear to be present.

The hat cord was meant for wear on the 1858 Dress or Hardee Hat.
