Infantry sky-blue wool hat cord meant for wear on the 1858 dress hat also known as the “Hardee” hat. The tassels on both of the acorns are still tied together showing the item was never issued.

Item has light surface dirt from age. The color has faded a little near the acorns.  [ad]
