OFFICER’S HAT CORD

$75.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: M26424

Fine example of a Model 1858 officer’s hat cord.  Typically worn on the “Hardee” Model 1858 dress hats or private purchase slouch hats, this hat cord is especially clean with gold bullion, black and white threads in excellent condition.  Acorns are tightly woven with no visible fraying.  No slide is present, the cord was likely adjusted for custom fit with two overhand knots.  [JC]
