MILITIA EPAULETTES FROM GETTYSBURG COLLECTION

$195.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: M24399

The body of these epaulettes is made of a lined gold material. The clamshell is lined in a heavy gold bullion border. This border would originally have been around both the inside and outside edges of the brass clamshell, but much of it is missing. The bullion tassels are intact but some look a little worn. The underside of the epaulettes are covered in yellow cloth and original brass hooks are present.

This matching pair of epaulettes comes from the Rosensteel Family / National Park Service collection of Gettysburg artifacts.
