Cast metal badge in the shape of the Liberty Bell. At top is a spread-winged eagle with a US shield on his chest with “1899” at center of the shield. Behind the shield are crossed cannons. The eagle is perched on the yoke of the bell that is inscribed with “OFFICIAL SOUVENIR 33RD NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT.” Suspended from the yoke is the bell itself with a cast brass GAR star at center. Above the star is a rendition of Independence Hall with the dates “SEP. 4-9” with “PHILADELPHIA” across the bottom.

Reverse still has the original pin and a maker’s mark.

Badge is in very nice condition.
