This white ribbon has gold lettering with a stamped brass top bar and button type drop. The ribbon itself meas. approx. 1.75 inches wide and including the bar and drop it meas. approx. 4.75 inches long.

The stamped brass top bar is plain with a scrollwork design on the edge with the original pin on the back. The ribbon has strong gold lettering that reads “13TH ANNUAL REUNION OLD McCLINTOCK GUARDS THURSDAY SEPT. 28TH 1916 337 LADSON ST PITTSBURGH, PA.” The button drop reads “G 136th REG. PENNA. VOL. INFANTRY 1862.”

The ribbon is in good condition with only some light surface dirt.

The 136th Pennsylvania Infantry was raised in the summer of 1862 for 9 months service. It spent August and September in the Defenses of Washington and towards the end of September it was assigned to the 2nd Brigade, 2nd Division, 1st Corps, Army of the Potomac. During its service the regiment saw action at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville. During its service the regiment lost 74 men killed, wounded, died of wounds and captured with another 30 lost to disease.
