Features a red, white and blue silk ribbon. Metal bar at top with wingspread eagle, pin on reverse. Circular medallion attached to below the ribbon with a metal ring; front features several patriotic/military items – flags, bayonets, cannon, cannonballs, drum, etc., surrounded by a ring of stars around the edge. Reverse features 8th Corps badge at with an eagle at its center; surround the eagle is, “SOCIETY OF THE ARMY OF WEST VIRGINIA”. Around the circumference of the medallion is, “ * RE-UNION SOCIETY OF THE ARMY OF WEST VA * PARKERSBURG, W. VA. SEP. 16-19 1890.” Overall very good condition. Some very minor soiling to the ribbon.
