Lot of 60 colorful patriotic postcards dating to C. 1910. All are in very fine to excellent condition. Most of the subject matter is GAR related, or generally to remembrance of the Civil War. Eight are in remembrance of Abraham Lincoln, there is one commemorating the Betsy Ross House, one for George Washington’s birthday, and one for “Old Glory”, with a US flag and the US Capitol building.
34 have been postally used, with postmarks, stamps and writing on the reverse.
