Insignia consists of a stamped brass wreath approx. 2.50 inches wide with a central white metal bars supporting the letters “SV” and the numeral “3” for Sons of Veterans, Camp #3.
Reverse has two prongs for attaching to a hat.
The name of the organization was later changed to Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War or SUVCW. [ad]
