Swallow-tailed, red and white ribbon meas. approx. 2.50 x 5.25 inches. Small area of a minor amount of glue residue which has bled through to the front of the ribbon.
At center of the ribbon in black ink is a Gatling gun with crossed US flag and unit guidon. This is flanked by the unit crest of the Cleveland Gatling Gun Battery.
The top of the ribbon reads “8TH ANNUAL TARGET PRACTICE” while the bottom reads “STERLINGWORTH INN 1889.”
Back of the ribbon has a faded ink signature that reads “WALTER MANSFIELD.” [ad]
