Swallow-tailed, red and white ribbon meas. approx. 2.50 x 5.25 inches. Small area of a minor amount of glue residue which has bled through to the front of the ribbon.

At center of the ribbon in black ink is a Gatling gun with crossed US flag and unit guidon. This is flanked by the unit crest of the Cleveland Gatling Gun Battery.

The top of the ribbon reads “8^TH ANNUAL TARGET PRACTICE” while the bottom reads “STERLINGWORTH INN 1889.”

Back of the ribbon has a faded ink signature that reads “WALTER MANSFIELD.”    [ad]
