Silver spoon features a raised image of James Buchanan at the end of the handle. Below this is a banner with the wording, “FIFTEENTH PRESIDENT, 1857 1861” and, “JAMES BUCHANAN”. Bowl of spoon has an image of a rider on horseback and the words, “1860 THE PONY EXPRESS”. Reverse is marked, “WM. ROGERS MRG. CO.” and, “IS” for the International Silver Co. Spoon measures 6” long and is in excellent condition with no spots. [sm]
