Silver teaspoon commemorating the Pan-American Exposition from 1901.

At the top of the spoon is a bust view of Civil War veteran and President, William McKinley. Below him along the stem is Niagara Falls and just before the bowl is “PAN-AMERICAN.”

The bowl itself is decorated with an engraving of the Temple of Music building where McKinley was supposed to speak and where he was assassinated on September 6, 1901.

The reverse of the spoon has a view of other exposition buildings surmounted by the year “1901.” Reverse is also marked “ONEIDA COMMUNITY.”

Spoon is in excellent condition with only light tarnish spots.  [ad]
