Item is a multi-piece ribbon. The top bar is made of stamped white metal with a scallop design. This bar anchors a short red and a longer blue ribbon together. The red ribbon is plain and meas. approx. 1.75 inches wide x 2.00 inches long and holds a celluloid button with a 1st Division, 6th Corps badge at center. The button meas. approx. 1.75 inches across. Beneath this is a blue ribbon with silver lettering. This ribbon meas. approx. 1.75 inches wide x 6.75 inches long. Lettering reads “VETERANS 15TH N. J. VOL’S WINCHESTER SEPT. 19, 1864. DOVER, N.J. SEPT. 19, 1895.”
Item is in good condition. Reverse has a nice paper label and pin. The celluloid button has some light spots of discoloration while the blue ribbon has some wear on the bottom edge.
