This small canteen was given to members of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States or “MOLLUS” at conventions and reunions as a souvenir. MOLLUS was an organization for former officers of the Union Army. The canteen meas. approx. 2.50 inches across and is made of thin brass with raised letters on one side that read “MILITARY ORDER LOYAL LEGION OF THE UNITED STATES.” The body of the canteen is in good shape on the front but the back has several dents.
