White ribbon with blue printing commemorates Farragut Day in Hartford Connecticut. Ribbon meas. approx. 8.25 inches long x 2.25 inches wide. At top is a separate US flag ribbon gathered at center. Beneath this is the wording “FARRAGUT DAY” with a printed bust view of the Admiral. Below this is the date “OCTOBER 19th 1897” with the shield of the city of Hartford dividing the date. At very bottom is “HARTFORD, CONN.” Bottom edge has fringe while reverse has pin. Item is in good clean condition.
