The top of this badge has a stamped brass spread-winged eagle over crossed cannons and cannon balls. Reverse still has the original pin.

Attached is a pot metal disk. The obverse has the Seal of the State of California at center surrounded by “TWENTIETH ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT GAR, SAN FRANCISCO, CAL.” The reverse has a GAR star at center in a wreath with “FRATERNITY, CHARITY and LOYALTY” between the upper arms of the star.

Badge exhibits some light surface dirt but is in otherwise good condition.
