This white ribbon meas. approx. 1.75 inches wide x 7.25 inches long. There is no top bar and never was one. The ribbon was meant to be pinned to the veterans coat by a safety pin. Stamped in a circle in red ink at the top of the ribbon is the State Seal of West Virginia. The body of the ribbon has blue lettering that reads “RE-UNION OF THE EX-UNION SOLDIERS’ ASSOCIATION OF MARION COUNTY, FAIRMONT, OCT. 5-6 1905.” At very bottom is a printed GAR membership badge done in red ink.
The ribbon is clean but does have one fold crease across the center. Lower left also has one small stress separation.
