Top hangar is a spread-winged eagle with crossed cannons and raised lettering that reads, “41ST NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT SARATOGA SPRINGS 1907”. Pin is present on reverse. Suspended from this is a yellow colored grosgrain ribbon and medal with crossed U.S. flags above images of the Saratoga monument and Grant Cottage. It reads, “’76 - REPRESENTATIVE - ‘61”. Attached to this, is a shield-shaped medal with a seal at the top that reads, “GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC 1861- VETERAN -1865”. Mounted to this is a medallion with an image of U.S. Grant. Below this lettering reads, “LET US HAVE PEACE”.

Entire length measures approx. 7”. Some fraying is present on the ends of ribbon.    [sm]
