Top hangar reads, “G.A.R. 32nd ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT / UTICA, N.Y.” Original pin is on reverse. A red ribbon is suspended between the upper and lower components. The lower bar reads, “DELEGATE 1898”. Suspended from this is a thick round medal with “DEPARTMENT COMMANDER Albert D. Shaw” around his bust. Reverse features the New York state seal and reads, “COMPLIMENTS OF THE CITIZENS OF UTICA 1898”. Entire length measures 4 ¼”. In very good condition. [jp]
