Top hangar is a brass spread-winged eagle with shield and flags. Wording reads, “SYRACUSE, JUNE 1910”. Original pin is present on reverse. Suspended from this is a red silk ribbon and two brass drops. Top reads, “DELEGATE, 44TH ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT, DEPT OF NEW YORK, G.A.R.”. Lower reads, “DEDICATION OF ONONDAGA COUNTY SOLDIERS AND SAILORS MONUMENT”. Entire length measures 5 ¼”. Ribbon has light surface dirt and fraying at the bottom. [SM]
