Hangar is brass framed celluloid with an image of a G.A.R. badge and wording, “GRAND ARMY OF THE REBUBLIC”. Original pin is on reverse. Ribbon is about fifty percent attached to hangar, and is made of celluloid with black silk ribbon applied at the top and bottom. Black silk is trimmed with silver, some of which is peeling. Silver lettering reads, “POST. NO. 250 BINGHAMTON, N.Y. / HONOR THE NOBLE DEAD”. Image in center is two crosses U.S. flags with a G.A.R. badge. Tassel made of gold bullion is present at the bottom.
