Hangar is a bar with, “DELEGATE” in raised letters. Hanging by two small chains is a broom, symbolizing Broome County. Original pin is present on reverse. A red silk ribbon is attached to bar with gold lettering that reads, “BINGHAMTOM N.Y. JUNE 15-16-17 1909”. Ribbon shows light surface dirt. Suspended from ribbon is a round medal with an image of a man and lettering that reads, “DEPARTMENT COMMANDER W.H. DANIELS”.
