White ribbon meas. approx. 2.50 x 6.00 inches.
Across the top is a 0.50 inch wide strip of gold ribbon. Below this is a spreadwinged eagle printed in gold perched on a US flag that is a separate piece and is sewn to the ribbon with gold bullion thread. Below this in gold print is “WINFIELD SCOTT POST NO. 73, PLAINFIELD, N. J.”
The bottom of the ribbon has 1.00 inch long tassels attached to a thin strip of gold ribbon.
Reverse has the original pin along with a complete paper label for the WM. S. CLAREDON’S BADGE EMPORIUM of Elizabeth, N. J.
Ribbon face has light surface dirt but is otherwise nice. [ad]
