Bade has a stamped brass top bar with a celluloid insert that reads “G. A. R.” in blue on a white field.

Suspended from the top bar is a red, white and blue ribbon approx. 2.75 inches long x 1.25 inches wide. Printed in gold lettering on the badge is “36TH ANNUAL REUNION ENGINEER BRIGADE ARMY OF THE POTOMAC WATKINS, N. Y. AUG. 30, 1906.”

Hanging from the ribbon is a circular brass drop with a stamped brass engineer castle on a blue field.

Ribbon is in nice shape with only light surface dirt and a slight smudge to the word “WATKINS.” Original pin and New Jersey maker’s information remain on the reverse.  [ad]
