Iron horseshoe shows a spread-winged eagle over crossed cannons perched at the top. Below the eagle a painted U.S. flag hangs. The G.A.R. star is in the center. Horseshoe is painted in gold gilt.

Measures 5 ¾” long by 4” wide. Reverse shows light surface rust in areas.  [sl]
