Grand Army of the Republic belt with buckle and cartridge box in fair condition.  Leather bridle leather belt is supple and in good condition.  Measures approximately 1 ½” wide. Rectangular buckle is cast brass featuring “G A R” around the organization’s star device.  Brass “keeper” is missing. Thin brass belt adjuster remains. A McKeever 45-70 cartridge box is on the belt. A silver plated “GAR” escutcheon is mounted on the front. No doubt from a G.A.R. honor guard. All showing light surface wear but in good overall condition.  [jet]
