Top brass hangar features a spread-winged eagle mounted on crossed cannons. Two rings attach this to the next medal which reads, “REPRESENTATIVE / 68TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. AUG. 1934”. Next is a white toned medal with, “ROCHESTER, N.Y.” at the top, and an image of the city seal below. Suspended at the bottom is a round medal with an image of a man. Letting circling image reads, “RUSSELL C. MARTIN, COMMANDER IN CHIEF”. Reverse reads, “68TH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT ROCHESTER, N.Y., AUGUST 1934”. Hanging behind all is a gold colored grosgrain ribbon.
Total length measures 5 ¼”. Bottom of ribbon is frayed but otherwise very good. [sl]
