MINIATURE GAR CANTEEN

$25.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 725-55

This small canteen was given to veterans at GAR conventions and reunions as a souvenir. The canteen meas. approx. 2.25 inches across and has the sling loops, the cork stopper and chain but it is missing the sling. The body of the canteen is covered in a sky-blue felt that has been terribly chewed by moths. The faded printing reads “WE DRANK FROM THE SAME CANTEEN.” The center of the cover is cut to reveal a disc that once held a photograph or insignia that is now gone. The back cover of the canteen is blank and in better condition.
