Different from the run of the mill ribbon this one is made of soft leather with an orange tint with black print. The interesting and amusing part of this ribbon is the print at center of a witch riding a broom through the night sky. The printing above the witch reads “PHIL. H. SHERIDAN POST 34 SALEM, MASS.” Below the witch is “31ST NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT- AUGUST 24 AND 25 1897-BUFFALO, N.Y.” Some light to moderate surface dirt from age and storage on front. Ribbon meas. approx. 8.00 inches long x 2.25 inches wide with a swallow tailed edge. No pin on back.
