$295.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 808-01

This choice example of an original United Confederate Veteran’s pin badge as worn by its members at the UCV Reunion in Tulsa, OK. The die-struck, sheet brass / copper shield device was worn at the UCV’s 28th Annual Reunion in 1918. A rare item, the badge measures 1 7/16” high, is 1¼” wide, and the face is embellished at the top with a pennant that reads “28th ANNUAL REUNION.” Below that is a spreadwinged eagle above the southern Saint George’s Battle flag. A series of three, gushing oil wells are below aside an oval medallion of an Indian in full head dress. Next is “TULSA / OKLAHOMA / UCV.” Badge back is plain save for the 1” long horizontally mounted pin clasp. No maker’s name. A rare and distinct badge device that would make a fine addition to any Civil War display or United Confederate Veteran military collection.
