Top bar is a little larger than is normally seen. At center is a relief of a large building with colonnade along its front. A riband at top reads “CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL INSTITUTION” while along bottom is “RICHMOND, VA.” Pin is present on back. Suspended from this top bar is a red and white ribbon that has some minor stress separations. Attached to the bottom of the ribbon is a medal with General Robert E. Lee standing at center surrounded by a laurel wreath. A riband at bottom reads “42nd ANNUAL REUNION U.C.V.” A full color enameled Confederate battle flag is superimposed over the center of the riband.
